The Master of Science Degree in Human Resource Management is designed to prepare managers to participate in the management and development of human resources in business, industry and the not-for-profit sector. The program provides instruction which prepares students for careers as professionals in the field of human resource management; offers them theoretical background, concepts and skills to those already in the field so that they may enhance their positions and facilitate their development within the profession; and presents an application-oriented, real-world focus for those wishing to build highly developed management skills.
The Advanced Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management is a non-degree program which presents many of the critical aspects of the degree program and which may be appropriate for those in management who have a graduate degree but desire specific education in the critical aspects of human resource management. It may also help those who are not ready to commit to completing the entire degree learn key aspects of human resource management and, perhaps, decide to take advantage of the benefit of the full degree program.
