The Master of Strategic Human Resource Management (MSHRM) is designed to prepare students and professionals with advanced human resource management skills. The program presents powerful tools for analysing strategic alignment, managing employment relationships and identifying leadership and team dynamic skills essential to orchestrate organizational change. The program will provide critical perspectives on the role and functions of HR executives and change agents.
All courses in the MSHRM degree program are designed to equip individuals with the management expertise to identify and provide solutions to human resource issues that are complex and evolving. Strategic human resource management will provide graduates with the opportunity to obtain proficiency in human resource management concepts, skills and activities in order to help develop human resource systems that will support an organization’s strategic objectives.
The Master of Strategic Human Resource Management is structured so as to enable HR practitioners to advance into positions of greater managerial responsibility, to advance their careers and to develop core competencies in human resource management. The MSHRM focuses on the need for students to acquire and demonstrate a command of creative, analytical and conceptual skills. It challenges the student to analyse, diagnose and execute strategic judgements across all human resource functions.
The program strives to provide students with a thorough grounding in the areas of human resource management required to excel in today’s increasingly competitive and global environment. The MSHRM program recognizes the values of, and is committed to instilling in committed human resource professionals the importance of continuous self-development, reflection and lifelong learning.
The Bachelor of Commerce degree program aims to provide students with a good grounding in various fields of business and an opportunity to specialise in a selected area of business. The majors offered include Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing and International Business. All courses within the program are designed for a rapidly changing world with innovation, market-relevance, flexibility and an international focob. The program builds a bridge between the academic environment and the world outside
The Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management is designed to prepare students with a good grounding in various fields of business studies while focobing on the Human Resource Management specialisation. The program equips graduates with the ability to identify, analyse and solve complex business problems. From a human resource perspective, students will develop abilities to understand the environment and processes of recruitment and selection, apply concepts and techniques to promote change, manage and develop people and apply appropriate occupational health and safety practices in organizations. The program will provide critical perspectives on the role and functions of HR professionals.
The mission of the Bachelor of Commerce undergraduate program is to provide students with a good grounding in their chosen discipline, to prepare students for entry-level positions in their chosen discipline in organizations and to stimulate in students a desire for life-long learning.

Final Grade Report
To receive a BA in Human Resources and Industrial Relations is required of a Grade Report. This extra-classroom work is a study or investigation that the student must perform on an individual basis, based on a project developed with support from a tutor.
Bachelor of Human Resources and Labor Relations, which aims to professionalize the management of Human Resources and Labor Relations in the various areas, actors and organizations that made this.
The Catholic University established in 1989, the Race of Industrial Relations, the University being a pioneer in studies in this area and offer a unique degree in this area of professional activity.
Training in Labor Relations, has and will continue to have great importance. In the professional players who require major work of the world as trade unions, government agencies, NGOs (national and international) and the organizations of employers, primarily interested in the training, skills and profile of a graded relationship labor.
It must also take into account that in recent years, the economic environment, socio-cultural and labor of the country, the region and the world has had major changes that have impacted on the world of work and the organization and operation of enterprises .
In this new situation, the company has acquired a special significance and proper management of human resources and labor relations in it, is a central theme of modernization processes and business efficiency.
The Faculty of Business has made a significant change in the curriculum of the degree to give greater emphasis to training in the management of human resources in companies.
The new curriculum provides options that enable the satisfaction of the diversity of training needs in this large and important topic.
The School currently provides those leading the new curriculum for the Degree, the Degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations with two options:
Option: Directorate of Human Resources and
Option: Management of Industrial Relations
Professional Profile
The Bachelor of Human Resources and Labor Relations is able to:
- Manage administration processes, including human resources and labor relations in enterprises and organizations.
- Contribute to strategic planning for the organization, proposing policies and advising the management of human resources and labor relations;
- To advise and participate in processes of negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution.
- Contribute to the development of the organization, with special emphasis on the motivation and the quality of working life.
- Perform diagnostics organizational problems and situations in human resources and labor relations, and develop and implement proposed solutions or improvements,
- Advise the different types of companies and organizations, public and private, on themes related to human resources management and industrial relations.
- Conduct audit and consulting activities outside the area of human resources and labor relations.
- Leading change processes in organizations.
- Integrate and work in groups and teams.
