Major in Human Movement at University of South Australia

Human movement draws upon both the socio-cultural and bio-physical sciences to study physical activity and its impact in many forms from healthy living/health-related fitness to sports performance. It includes the study of those areas of fitness, health and sport where exercise and physical activity are used as a means of improving and maintaining optimal levels of health, developing fitness and improving performance, as well as assisting in rehabilitation from injury or disease. The aims of this program is to introduce students to some of the diverse theoretical and applied aspects of human movement.
