Applicant must be currently working as a full-time, paid staff member in the human services field. Applicants who hold a baccalaureate degree must have at least one year of paid experience in the human services field. Applicants who do not hold a baccalaureate degree must have a minimum of five years of paid human service experience and a high school degree or its equivalent.
As part of the application process, prospective students are required to identify a PRECEPTOR, who will serve as a mentor throughout the graduate experience.

The Human Services program is designed to prepare students for both direct-service and administrative positions in various human service agencies and institutions, to provide students with a multidisciplinary education and supervised experiences in the field. The Human Services Program is designed to preserve students' option to choose graduate study by combining academic preparation with skills training. This major cannot be doubled with a major or minor in Psychology or Sociology.
To successfully complete the Human Services major, a minimum of 120 credits is required for graduation, the last 30 of which must be earned at La Roche College. Required course work

Our graduates do mainly pursue careers in Human Resource Management, though some do opt for more generalist management roles. Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
Minimum undergraduate cumulative QPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
Minimum QPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in courses taken within the undergraduate major
Official MAT (Miller's Analogy Test), GRE (Graduate Record Exam), or GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) score not older than five years.
