It is the policy of the College to admit suitable applicants to the College programmes. Applicants will be considered on the basis of academic qualifications, public examination results, the relevance of their chosen subjects, their special interests / qualities / working experience and other relevant factors. Applicants shall not be discriminated against on the basis of sex, age, race, religion, ethnic origin or physical disability.
Associate Degree (AD) and Higher Diploma (HD) Programme
3 passes in the HKCEE, and Level 2/Grade E or above in Chinese Language & English Language ; plus a pass in 1 AL subject or 2 AS-level subjects in the HKALE; or
A recognised Pre-Associate Degree or post-secondary Diploma; or
Being 23 years of age or above on 1st September in the year when admission is sought;
Other equivalent qualifications to be assessed by the College.
Entry Year
Admission year will be assessed and determined by the College on a case-by-case basis.
Pre-Associate Degree (Pre-AD) Programme
3 passes in the HKCEE, and Level 2/Grade E or above in Chinese Language & English Language; or
Satisfactory completion of Project Yi Jin Programme;
Being 21 years of age or above on 1st September in the year when admission is sought.
Other equivalent qualifications to be assessed by the College.
Admission of Non-local and International Students
Satisfactory completion of studies at a recognised secondary or post-secondary institution outside Hong Kong with qualifications equivalent to our entry requirements.

Students not satisfying the minimum graduate admission test score and GPA requirements for unconditional admission may be conditionally admitted to the program. Prospective students seeking admission to a certificate program must meet the regular entrance requirements for the College of Professional Studies. Admission of new students is dependent upon all past educational experiences and other significant activities. Students who are currently matriculated for a degree must be in good academic standing to qualify for admission into a certificate program. Matriculated students may not pursue a certificate program in their major field of study.
