In addition, students study the theory and practice of relations between employers, employees, unions and government. Human Resource Management can be combined with almost any area, although some appropriate combinations include Behavioural Science or Communications (from the School of Arts & Sciences).
Applicants applying for a graduate certificate must have earned an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited college or university, with a minimum undergraduate quality point average (QPA) of 2.7. Students not meeting this requirement may be reconsidered for admission after completing one (1) prescribed course in the certificate program. Other admission standards may apply depending on the certificate program. Please refer to the specific certificate program for details. These graduate certificates are 12-credit / four courses within the Master of Administrative Science (MAS) program.
